My husband is being transferred to an Australian rugby club from his UK club, we will all have to move with him. I have a child from a previous relationship and don't know what to do! He is 4 and see's his dad every weekend, we have no official custody arrangement due to remaining friends since the relationship ended. I have never restricted access to our boy and we have always planned to live closer in future so our son can be closer to his dad. I am so happy for my husband but sick at the thought of separating my son and his dad especially at such a young age. I can't help feeling it's the wrong thing to do but I also have my other son and my husband to consider I don't know what to do for the best to keep everyone happy. My ex doesn't know yet and I honestly don't know how to tell him, how do you tell a father that you are taking his son away? It seems no matter what one of my kids will be far away from their father, if I stay then so will my youngest who is 15months and I will probably lose my husband, if I go my eldest will lose his dad for a long period of time.
